Mary Staneski, age 100, of West Cocalico Township, Denver, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, October 23, 2016, at 7:55 PM in her residence. Born in Red Jacket, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Louis and Helen (Toth) Raytik, her husband, Stanley Staneski, died in 2003. A devout catholic, she was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, Ephrata, a former member of St. Agnes Church, West Chester, and a Carmelite in Fort Myers, Florida. Mary cherished her family and was an exemplary mother who was the heart of her family. Surviving are her daughters, Lillian, wife of Joseph Cornett, Oxford, Maryland; and Elaine, wife of Joseph Jackson, Exton; her son, Stanley R., husband of Cynthia (Jones) Staneski, Jr., Denver; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Raytik, Coatesville. She was predeceased by a daughter, Madeline Kopanski; and siblings, Louis, Nicholas Michael Raytik, and Helen Bilinski. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 28, 2016,at 1:30 PM from OMPH Church, 320 Church Ave., Ephrata, PA 17522, with Fr. Paul Bryan, C.SS.R., celebrant. Final commendation farewell will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata, PA. A viewing will be held Friday 11:30 AM to 1 PM from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown.
