Remembering Melvin with Love... Melvin M. Miller, 84, of 450 West Route 897, Reinholds, died Wednesday, September 27, 2006, at 1:40 PM in Ephrata Manor, where he resided for the past 9 days. He had been a patient at the Ephrata Community Hospital since September 5th. Born September 5, 1922, in Ephrata Township , he was a son of the late Lloyd and Emiline (Mucklehenny) Miller, and the husband of Florence E. (Kramer) Miller for 53 years. A member of Swamp Evangelical Lutheran Church , Reinholds, he was a farmer much of his life and last employed by West Cocalico Township Authority. Melvin enjoyed growing tulips and jigsaw puzzles. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Esther Meckley, Ephrata; and Faye, wife of Edwin Harting, Reinholds; nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by brothers, Alvin and Raymond Miller, and sisters, Irene Moyer and Pauline Gensemer. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2006, at 2:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc. of Reamsown, with The Rev. Dennis L. Trout officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Swamp Cemetery , Reinholds.
