Thinking Fondly of Mildred... Mildred F. Fry, 78, formerly of 208 Willow Street, Adamstown, Lancaster County, died Saturday morning at 3:10 AM of natural causes in ManorCare Health Services of Sinking Spring, Berks County, where she resided since September 17, 1999. Born in West Reading, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Lemon E. and Mable Louise (Mosser) Youndt. Her husband, Floyd S. Fry, died October 8, 1983. She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Swartzville, Lancaster County, where she had been a former member of the choir. A 1942 graduate of the former Shillington High School, she was employed over the years as a retail sales clerk at the former Pomeroy's and John Wanamaker Stores, Bon-Ton Store all in the Berkshire Mall, Wyomissing, and last with Donecker's of Ephrata, Lancaster County. Surviving is a daughter, Sharon L., married to Ronald H. Orner, Ephrata; a son, Dana M. Fry, Wyomissing; 2 step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandson; and her twin sister, Marian Y., married to Kay O. Firestone, Adamstown. A brother, Kenneth Youndt, preceded her in death. Viewing Services... Mildred's viewing will be held from our parlor on Monday, January 28, 2002, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral ceremony will take place on Tuesday, January 29, 2002, at 11:00 AM in our funeral home with her pastor, The Reverend William E. Hoch, officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown, PA. If desired, contributions in her memory may be sent to her church, Peace United Church of Christ, 37 East Swartzville Road, Denver, PA 17517.
