Mildred Krick

Mildred M. Krick, 88, of Adamstown, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Gardens at Stevens. Born in Milford, Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Ralph B & Helen E. (Miller) McCallicher and the widow of Jack D. Krick who passed in 1991. Mildred grew up in Martindale, married Jack in 1950 and lived in Adamstown for over 40 years. She worked in sales at the former Griffith & Bixler Furniture store located in Knauers. She was a member of a card club and enjoyed playing cards with her friends. Mildred was a great storyteller and had many friends. She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Denver. Her favorite companion was her cat, Molly. Mildred is survived by two nephews, James Whitaker, husband of Brenda, of Adamstown and David Whitaker, husband of Mary Jo, of Delton, MI; great nieces & nephews, Debra, Kim, Sherry, Vicki, Bret & Jonathan. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor E. Whitaker. Visitation: Tuesday, December 31st from 10 to 11 AM at Peace United Church of Christ, 37 E. Swartzville Rd., Denver, PA 17517 where the service will begin at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown. Memorial contributions to Peace United Church of Christ, 37 E.
