Myrtle M. Kindt

Myrtle M. Kindt, age 86, a resident of Ephrata Manor, formerly of Reinholds, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018. Myrtle was a daughter of the late Frank K.and Nora (Heilinger) Frederick. Married 63 years, she was the loving wife of Donald R. Kindt who passed in 2012.Myrtle worked with her husband as the shop manager of the family business, Donald Kindt Paint Wallpaper. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking. Myrtle was happiest when spending time with her family.She is survived by three children: Donald L. Sr., married to Judy A. (Steely) Kindt, Reinholds, Donna E., married to Robert Starr, Ephrata,and Denise L., married to Kevin P. Shimp, Stevens; five grandchildren eight great grandchildren. Myrtle was predeceased by a son, Ronald L. Kindt; sisters, Cordelia Miller, Darcey Dinger, Sallie Hackman, twin sister, Myrl M. Burkholder, andbrothers, Roy H. FrederickandFranklin A. Frederick. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018, at10 AM in Ephrata Manor Chapel, 99 Bethany Road, Ephrata, PA 17522, with visitation from 9-10 AM in the chapel.Graveside services will be at3 PM in Millbach Cemetery, 13 Kleinfeltersville Road, Newmanstown, PA.
