Myrtle M. Sweigart, age 94, formerly of Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died May 29, 2015, at 11:05 AM in Denver Health & Rehabilitation Center, Stevens. Born in Shillington, Berks County, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Oliver Y. and Bessie S. (Kohl) Burkhart, her husband, Chester V. "Chet" Sweigart, died December 16, 2004. A member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Ephrata, she loved sewing, crossword & jigsaw puzzles. Myrtle had worked at Ephrata Shoe Company. Surviving are her son, Brian C. Sweigart, Stevens; daughters, Gail L. Trate, Denver; and Penny D. (Douglas) Stick, Ephrata; grandchildren, Melissa Gockley, Tami Dub", Theresa Clair, Adam Stick, Kozette Zimmerman & Laura Burkholder; great-grandchildren, Shana, Eric, Joey, Kyle, Bailey, Elias, Himan & Phinneas; & great-great-grandson, Manny. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 4, at Noon from Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, with her pastor, The Rev. Henry E. Herbener, officiating. The viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, Ephrata.
