Nancy L. Spratlin

Remembering Nancy with Love... Nancy L. Spratlin, 71, Ephrata, formerly of Gettysburg , died at home Sunday, March 28, 2010. Born in Staten Island , NY , a daughter of the late Walter and Edith (Keck) Hurst, she was the wife of Reverend Richard E. Spratlin for 50 years. A member, former volunteer secretary and director of Vacation Bible School for St. Paul 's the Pines Evangelical Lutheran Church, New Oxford, she loved reading, sewing, traveling and crossword puzzles. Also surviving are daughters, Maureen A. (Keith D.) Nichols, Ephrata; and Karen L. (Stephen M.) Keener, York; and granddaughters, Aimee Sohnleitner and Alexandria Keener. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Hurst. Memorial Service... A celebration of Nancy's life will be held on Tuesday, April 13, at 6:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with her pastor, The Rev. M. Benson Paull officiating. Rather than flowers, contributions may be made to your local humane/animal shelter.
