Nancy M. Potts

Nancy M. Potts, 83, of Stevens, passed away, Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in Ephrata Manor. Born in Pennwyn, Nancy was a daughter of the late William “Bill” Jr. and Mary (Mattes) Kohl and the loving wife to Earl W. Potts for 62 years.

She was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, class of 1958, and attended the former McCann's School of Business in Reading. Nancy dedicated her life to her family. She was an avid bowler and a member of the former Colonial Hills bowling league. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating. Nancy was also a talented seamstress and took great pleasure in making clothing and Halloween outfits for her daughters. Saturday yard sales were some of her favorite adventures. Nancy enjoyed Penn State games and was an avid fan. The Game Show Network was always fun to watch. Nancy was also a former member of the Wyomissing UCC Church in Gouglersville. One of Nancy’s greatest joys was traveling with her husband. Together, they explored the western states and Florida, creating cherished memories. They also made a point of bringing their young daughters along on these adventures, a tradition of exploration and family bonds. Nancy will be remembered for her quiet nature and her kind and gentle spirit. She touched the lives of those around her with her warmth and compassion. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by three daughters, Deborah Sweigart (Michael) of Denver, Vickie Witman of Shillington, Stacy Rouillard (Ron) of Virginia; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Liane Rinehart (George) of Mohnton; and 9 half-brothers and 4 half-sisters.

A Visitation will be held on Tues., Feb. 6th from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown (Stevens).
