Remembering Naomi with Love... Naomi A. Hassler, 85, of 471 Hill Road, Denver, died Sunday, January 28, 2007, at 1:45 PM in the Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Reading, Berks County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Ira J. and Annie A. (Mogel) Becker, and was the wife of Paul E. Hassler, Sr., for 48 years. A member of Allegheny United Church of Christ, Alleghenyville, Berks County, she had been employed as a sewing machine operator with Cinderella Knitting Mills, Denver, for many years. Naomi loved to crochete. She loved flowers, reading, watching "Wheel of Fortune" on television, and most of all her God and family. Surviving in addition to her husband are 2 daughters, Ruth Ann, wife of Robert Miller, Denver, PA; and Sandra Kay, wife of Gregory Martin, Denver, PA; 2 sons, Karl D., husband of Joan (Dunn) Ludwig, Denver, PA; and Paul E., Jr., husband of Shelly (Burkman) Hassler, Denver, PA; 7 grandchildren, Rebecca Strahan, Lori Hankee, Matthew Miller, Tammy Byler, Thomas Daniel Hassler and Kristina Clayborne; 3 great-grandsons; and a sister, Jeannette L., wife of Richard Keen, Denver, PA. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services were held on Friday, February 2, 2007, at 2:00 PM from Allegheny United Church of Christ, 1219 Kurtz Mill Road, Mohnton, PA 19540 , with her pastor, The Rev. Ruthann Seibert, officiating. A viewing was held on one hour prior to the funeral. Burial was in Allegheny Union Cemetery, Alleghenyville, Berks County, PA. Pallbearers were Gregory Martin, Thomas Hassler, Paul Hassler, Jr., Robert Miller, Daniel Hassler, Matthew Miller, David Curley and Duane Curley.
