Remembering Nathaniel with Love... Nathaniel H. Berger, age 86, of Stevens, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at 8:05 AM in Ephrata Community Hospital following a 6 month illness. Born in Tilden Township , Berks County , he was a son of the late John H. and Cora Mae (Moyer) Berger, and the husband of Kathryn A. (Heitz) Berger for 58 years. He was member of Muddy Creek Lutheran Church , Swartzville, and a longtime member of the Muddy Creek Cemetery board. Nathaniel was a 1940 graduate of Hamburg High School . A self-employed farmer, he also retired from Weave Corporation, Denver , and provided transportation for local team Mennonite families. He enjoyed public sales and bus trips. Also surviving are daughters, Linda K. and Brenda A. Berger, at home; sisters, Clara A. Bomberger, Lancaster , PA ; and Cora E. Dippner, Stevens, PA; and a brother, David D., husband of Debra (Schaffer) Berger, Rothsville , PA. He was predeceased by a sister, Kathryn Wink, and brothers, John and Claude. Viewings Funeral Service... Viewings will be held on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008, at 11:00 AM from Muddy Creek Lutheran Church , 11 S. Muddy Creek Road , Denver , PA 17517 , with The Rev. Paul W. Smeltz and The Rev. David T. Hinkley officiating. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery , Denver , PA.
