Neng Yang

February 15, 1949 — July 6, 2018

Neng T. Yang, 69, of Denver, passed away late Friday night July 6, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Xieng Khuong, Laos, he was the husband of Jou Xiong Yang and a son of Ya Toua and Mee Moua Yang. Neng lived in the Lancaster County area since 1980 was a member of the Leola Hmong Alliance Church. Even though the United States was not Neng's home country, he was very proud to serve in the US Army special forces and was a member of the Lao Veterans of America. In former years, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also loved to write and authored volumes of his thoughts and experiences. In addition to his wife, Neng is survived by four children: Paj Hawj, Tub Vanyvong, Katelynn A Lee, and David. He is also survived by 3 sisters: Ntxhoo Lis, Tiaj Muas, Maiv Nyiaj Vaj. He was predeceased by his daughter Maiv Npheev and his siblings, Yaj Sua, Ntxhi, Npis, Kab, Ntxhiav, Vaj Lee, and Npawv. The first viewing and service will be held Friday, July 13th: viewing at 6:30 to 7 and the service beginning at 7 PM. The second viewing and service will be held on Saturday, July 14th: viewing at 9-9:30 AM and the service beginning immediately thereafter. His life and funeral will be celebrated at the Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Center, 34-38 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown, PA 17567. Interment will immediately follow the service on Saturday in Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Rd, Reading, PA 19608.
