Remembering Norman with Love... Norman L. Zimmerman, age 85, of Colonial Lodge, Denver , formerly of New Holland, died October 23, 2010, at 2:15 PM in Lebanon VA Hospital. Born in East Earl Twp., a son of the late John W. and Bertha (Lied) Zimmerman, he was married to Ethel ( Adams ) Zimmerman for 65 years. A WWII Marine Corps veteran he was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Norman was president of the church board, annual conference lay delegate, trustee and class leader of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Terre Hill, and was a faithful prayer partner with children in the church. He retired in 1991 after 40 years as shop foreman with Valley Protein, Inc., Terre Hill. An avid collector, he was a member of post card clubs. Also surviving are daughters, Janice J. (Richard) Rubin, Leola; and Josephine M. (Philip) Stone, Landisville; grandchildren, Nicole H. (Dan) Bono, Derek Stone and Chad (Tiffany) Rubin; and great-grandson, Lucas Bono. He was predeceased by a son, Jonathan. Viewings Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 30, at 11:00 AM, from Trinity E. C. Church, 110 E. Main St . , Terre Hill , PA 17581 with Pastor Al Hoffman officiating. Burial with military honors by Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard from Martin's Cemetery, Red Run. Viewings will be held on Friday from 6-8 PM from Good Funeral Home of Reamstown and Saturday one hour prior to the service at church. Rather than flowers, contributions may be sent to his church at the above address.
