Patricia Alesin

Patricia 'Patty' A. Alesin, 65, of Gouglersville, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of Rita (Wishart) Leonard and the late Walter Leonard. Patty was a graduate of Northeast High School in Philadelphia, class of 1976. She loved her family and raised her kids as a stay-at-home-mom and often watched her nieces and nephews too. Most recently, Patty was a dispatcher for UGI HomeServe heating & air conditioning. She worked for UGI for almost 20 years and was well-liked by the technicians. Patty started 'Exquisite Embroidery', making patches for local motorcycle clubs such as the Vietnam Vets, Second Brigade Motorcycle Club, and Reading Motorcycle Club. Her involvement with the motorcycle clubs brought lifelong friendships that Patty treasured. Patty loved her family and enjoyed hosting Sunday dinners, game nights, and teaching her grandchildren to sew and bake. Patty always put her whole heart into her crafts, cooking, and especially her family. In addition to her mother, Patty is survived by four children, Brian Alesin of Reading, Sarah (P.J.) Eveland of Reading, Christina (Justin) Irwin of Mt Vernon, MO, Lisa (Steve Peffer) Alesin of Mohnton; seven grandchildren, Robbie, Lilli, Haleigh, Ellie, Peter, Bud, and a sister, Mary (Rick) Mikus of Denver. Patty was predeceased by two brothers, Michael Leonard and James Leonard. A viewing will be held on Mon., May 8th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, 34 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown (Stevens). At 7:30 p.m. a Time-of-sharing will be held. Patty loved flowers! In lieu of fresh cut flowers, please send (or bring) potted plants to the viewing.
