Paul Root

Paul H. Root, 89, of Reamstown, passed away Mon., Jan. 13, 2020 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born in Ephrata, Paul was a son to the late James S. & Anna (Leisey) Root and the loving husband of 54-years to Rosalee M. (Rupp) Root. Paul was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a painter for Nelson Wenger, worked at the F&M Hat Co. in Denver, and even in retirement he worked at Goods Potato Chips. He was a member of the AMVETS and VFW in Ephrata. Paul enjoyed trips to the shore, Rehoboth Beach was a favorite. Whether in the shed or the yard, Paul always had to have something to do and he always enjoyed a good joke. He will be dearly missed by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his beloved dog, Cookie. Services private, at the convenience of the family.
