Pauline E. Zerbe, age 98, formerly of Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,died Friday, January 1, 2016, at 1:38 PM in LutherCare Manor of Luther Acres, Lititz, Lancaster County, PA. Born in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Frank H. and Katie (Paul) Shaub, her husband of 51 years, John L. Zerbe, died February 13, 1989. A member of Zion United Church of Christ, Ephrata (Lincoln), she worked 36 yearsfor Walter W. Moyer then Gerber Childrenwear, Ephrata. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Geraldine A. Heft, and 5 siblings. Surviving is her son-in-law, S. Eugene Heft, Lititz; grandchildren, Melanie A., wife of Donald E. Horn, Jr.; Scott D. Grant and Ann M., wife of Carl Unruh; 4 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 6, from 10 to 11 AM from The Chapel of Luther Acres, 600 E. Main Street, Lititz, PA 17543, with funeral services at 11 AM; the Rev. Bradley Haws officiating. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville.
