Phoebe Weaver

Phoebe Ann (Stauffer) Weaver, age 71, of Denver Borough, Lancaster County, PA, died Friday, January 11, 2013, in Essa Flory Hospice Center, Lancaster, PA. Born in Chester County, a daughter of the late Harwin L. and Dorothy E. (Lammey) Stauffer, she was the wife of Robert L. Weaver for 35 years. Phoebe worked as a retail manager at the former Nichols Discount City, then Pharmhouse, and for Walmart and Redners Warehouse Market, all in Ephrata, PA. She enjoyed the Game Show Channel and cherished her cat, "Lucky". Also surviving is her daughter, Wanda (Raymond) Stafford, Ephrata; sisters, Virginia (Emiliano) Lebron, Landenberg; Clara (Greg) Ziobro, Downingtown; Darlene Stauffer, Honey Brook; and Debra Lammey, New Holland; brothers, Harwin L. (Phyllis) Stauffer, Jr., Narvon; James H. (Deborah Ammon) Stauffer, & Jack R. (Brenda Wollard) Stauffer, both Gap; Jake L. (Kerri) Stauffer, & John H. Stauffer, both Coatesville; a step-son, Steven Lee (Kerry) Weaver, Ephrata; 3 step-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Mary Anne Weaver, Ephrata. Siblings, Cruzita Valentin and Jesse Stauffer, predeceased her. A viewing will be held Thursday, January 17, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with a celebration of life beginning at 8:00 pm. Chaplain with Hospice & Community Care, The Reverend Glenn A. Beard, Jr. will officiating. Private traditional burial will take place in Hopeland United Methodist Cemetery, Clay Township, PA.
