Ralph E. "Ecky" Eckenroth

Remembering "Ecky" with Love... Ralph E. "Ecky" Eckenroth, age 79, of Stevens, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at home. Born in Gouglersville, Berks County, a son of the late Thomas G. and Bertha M. (Horn) Eckenroth, his wife, Betty L. (Epler) Eckenroth, died November 5, 1998. He worked as an auto mechanic for Halligan Auto Repairs and RR Auto Sales, both of Ephrata. And avid hunter, he loved his family so very much. Surviving are his daughters, Judy D. (Larry C.) Light, Ephrata; and Marilyn B. (Kevin W.) Todd, Lititz; his sons, Larry T. (Melody J. Fasnacht) Eckenroth, Denver; and Kenneth E. Eckenroth, Stevens; a sister, Rosalie M. Long, Womelsdorf; brother, Raymond C. Eckenroth, Mohnton; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased by a son, Ralph E. "Fritz" Eckenroth, Jr., who died in 1995; brothers, Richard and Robert Eckenroth; and a sister, Rita Gottschall. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services were held on Monday, April 19, 2010, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc., Reamstown, with Chaplain Donna Shenk officiating. Burial followed in Mellinger's Cemetery, Schoeneck, PA. A viewing was held that the funeral home on Sunday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and on Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 am.
