Remembering "Randy" with Love... Randolph G. "Randy" Mentzer, age 70, formerly of Bowmansville & Adamstown, Lancaster County, PA, died July 29, 2012, at Colonial Lodge, Denver , Lancaster County, PA. Born in Millway, a son of the late Clarence B. and Hilda (Parsons) Mentzer, he worked many years for Hope Hosiery Mill, Adamstown & Denver. Randy was an avid hunter who loved camping, ice hockey, football, pro-wrestling and NASCAR. He was an award winning trap shooter, a Civil War buff and loved old TV movies, especially "Gone With The Wind". Surviving is his brother, F. Gene (Dawn M. Neff) Moyer, Marietta; a niece, MSgt. Lori M. (Scott) McCarty, Maytown; and grandnieces, Annabelle & Bridget. He was also predeceased by his step-mother, Annie E. (Moyer) Mentzer, and brother, Gerald L. Mentzer. A warm thank you to the Colonial Lodge Staff and Gwen & Loi of AsceraCare for their care and understanding that truly made Randy feel at home. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 3, at 10 AM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with viewing 9-10 AM. Burial in Bowmansville Union Cemetery.
