Rebekah Fox

Rebekah Kay (Stone) Fox, 53, of Reinholds, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the Hershey Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, Becky was a daughter of Grace (Heckle) Stone and the late Ivan Stone Jr. In March, Becky and her loving husband, Kirk W. Fox, would have celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary. Becky grew up in New Holland and graduated from Garden Spot High School, class of 1988. She formerly worked at New Holland Apparel and Lancaster Laboratories in Leola. When her children came along, Becky devoted her life to her family. She loved being a mom and left her work to be home to raise the kids. She eventually became the favorite neighborhood sitter, welcoming her kids' friends into her home after school. Becky loved going to the family camps in Potter County, she had gone on family camping and fishing trips all her life. Some of her happiest moments were sitting around campfires and baiting a hook. Becky loved family events, reunions, birthday parties, and any reason to be together. She spoiled her family with the best bake goods, cookies, and sweet treats. Becky was well-rooted in her Christian beliefs, she formerly served at Pilgrim Bible Church in New Holland and remained faith-based throughout her life. Her fun and eclectic music interests included Reba, The Carpenters, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Buble, and contemporary Christian. A special meal for Becky would consist of seafood, particularly shrimp and clams. She was witty and quick minded, often havening the trivia or crossword answers far before anyone else. Becky loved to joke, she had a wonderful sense of humor, she was spunky and easy to get along with. Becky always took the high road, always put others before herself, and always saw her glass half full, never empty. She loved deeply, forgave easily, and gave generously. In addition to her husband and mother, Becky is survived by three children, Hunter D. Fox of Reinholds, Jaclyn R. Fox of Ephrata, and Broc W. Fox of Reinholds; and eight siblings, Jane Johnson, Greg Stone, Faith (Patrick) Pickel, Vickie (Steve) Supplee, Claudette (Scott) Burkhart, Matthew Stone, Jeffrey (Theresa) Stone, & Dorcas (Steve) Ibach. Becky was predeceased by an infant brother, Jack. A viewing will be held on Mon., Mar. 6th from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Center, 34 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown (Stevens), Pa. and the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds.
