Rev. Paul Vincent Bryan, C.Ss.R. 85, of the St. Clement Mission House Community, Ephrata, Pennsylvania, died on March 25, 2019, at the Stella Maris Nursing Home in Timonium, MD. Father Bryan was born on June 19, 1933, in Brentwood, New York, the son of George and Rita (Fearon) and brother of former Redemptorists George J. and Robert J. Bryan. Father Bryan attended the Redemptorist Minor Seminary of St. Mary's College, North East, PA from 1947-1953. He professed temporary vows on August 2, 1954 at St. Mary's, Ilchester, Maryland and perpetual vows on September 2, 1957 at Mt. St. Alphonsus, Esopus, NY. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 21, 1959, at Mt. St. Alphonsus Seminary, Esopus, NY. Fr. Paul resided in Ephrata, PA, where he gave missions around the country until 2017 when his health forced him to retire. Fr. Bryan then moved to the St. John Neumann Residence at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. On Friday, March 29th a viewing will be held from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. at Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church, 320 Church Ave., Ephrata, PA. A Catholic Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Church during the viewing. On Saturday, March 30th a second viewing will be held from 9:30 � 11:00 a.m. at OMPH, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 a.m. Final Commendation and Farewell will follow the Mass and will take place at the Redemptorist Cemetery at St. Clement Mission House.
