Richard Allen Auker

Richard A. Auker, age 71, of Rothsville, Warwick Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died at home on Wednesday November 23, 2016, at 4 AM under the care of Hospice Community Care. Born in East Cocalico Township, a son of the late Allen C. and Ida Mae (Bush) Auker, he was married to Beverly R. (Adair) Auker for 53 years. Richard worked for Ready-mix Concrete, Lancaster, and was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Congregational Church, Rothsville; Reamstown Athletic Association; and the I.O.O.B. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was active with yard sales. Surviving in addition to his wifeare his daughters, Tracy Auker, at home; Beth Auker, Ephrata; and Denise, married to William Geibel, Rothsville; and grandchildren, Trisha Billy Geibel. His siblings, Fern M. Eller, Ruth Ann Gaus, Betty Jane Slates, Harold E. Auker Ronald Lee Auker, predeceased him. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 1, at 10 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth H. Miller officiating.
