Remembering Richard with Love... Richard Lorah, 76, of Denver , died Monday, July 20, 2009, at 3:00 AM in the emergency room of Ephrata Community Hospital . Born in Reamstown, a son of the late Horace and Dorothy G. (Ludwig) Lorah, he was the husband of Margaret A. (Kline) Lorah for 44 years. He served during the Korean Conflict, 2 years in the Army and 4 years with the Air Force, and retired from Hamilton Equipment, Ephrata, in 1998. A charter member of Washington Avenue Bible Church , he loved baseball, softball and football. Also surviving is a brother, Melvin H. Lorah, Lititz. He was predeceased by a sister, Eleanor Hannaway. Private Graveside Service...Private graveside services will be held from Ruhl's United Methodist Cemetery, Manheim, PA, with Pastor Bill Shaw officiating. Rather than flowers, contributions may be sent to his church, Washington Avenue Bible Church, 149 Washington Avenue, Ephrata , PA 17522 .
