Robert C. Clift

Robert Charles Clift “Bob”, 74, of Ephrata, PA, entered heaven’s gates on Monday, March 11, 2024. He was the son of the late Charles and Julia (Smith) Clift and the loving companion of Doreen McCabe and was a member of Bergstrasse Lutheran Church in Ephrata.

He was born in Philadelphia and spent much of his life in Bensalem, Bucks County, PA prior to moving to Mohnton, PA in 2006, and then Ephrata in 2015. Following graduation from Bensalem High School, he founded an electrical contracting business, eventually going into electronic security, protecting homes and businesses for 30+ years. He was later employed by Vector Security and in retirement transported children to and from school for Shultz Transportation Company, which he greatly enjoyed.

He had a passion and talent for photography, especially nature photography, traveling extensively to photograph God’s creations. He dearly loved animals (with a special fondness for Golden Retrievers) and cared for many throughout his lifetime.

He will be sadly missed by his life partner of 24 years, Doreen, along with her children, Bill (Carlos), April, and Lauren, as well as grandchildren, Michael (Todd), Cameron, Kayla, Ashleigh, Peter, and Gemma, his beloved Golden Retriever, Chloe, and many dear friends. Per his wishes, his funeral and memorial service will be private and at the convenience of family.
