Robert Leroy Callihan

Robert Leroy Callihan, 89, passed away at his home in Manheim, PA on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Robert was born May 2, 1929, to David L. Callihan and Ila L. (Burkey) in Johnstown, PA. In his younger years, Robert was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, and he was a very accomplished sculptor. He was a die-hard Duke basketball and Penn State football fan. Robert was preceded in death by both of his parents, his wife Martha L (Garrett) Callihan, his daughter Valerie Jo, and seven siblings, Surviving are a son, Douglas R. Callihan (Marci); two grandchildren, Angela Callihan and Matthew D. Callihan (Erin), four step-grandchildren, Peter Williams, Tevis Williams, D.J. Williams (Sophia) and Ronnie Williams and four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Tadhg, Bria, Addison, and Rhys. Also, surviving are Robert's sisters Alice and Evelyn. Friends and family are invited to Gravenor Home for Funerals, 100 West Main Street, Ephrata, PA for a time of visitation from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday, March 11, 2019. A Funeral Service for Robert will be held at 2:00 PM following the visitation time. Interment will take place following the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
