Remembering Roy with Love... Roy H. Frederick, 71, of 760 South Cocalico Road, Denver, Lancaster County, died unexpectedly in his residence Thursday morning at 2:30 AM. Born in Clay Township, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Cordelia H. (Frederick) Miller, and was the husband of Nancy J. (Hartranft) Frederick for 51 years on April 13, 2003. He was a member and former longtime trustee of Wiest's Memorial United Methodist Church of Schoeneck, Lancaster County. Retiring in 1995, Roy was a brick and block mason for over 40 years. He had been self-employed for many years and had worked for Paul Kaufman, Denver, and Leonard Ernie Steffy Masonry, East Earl. Frederick was a member of the Cocalico Sportsman Association, he enjoyed hunting, gardening and working on his farm in Sullivan County. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Audrey L. (Frederick), married to James L. Royer, Stevens, PA; 2 grandchildren; a great-grandson; 2 sisters, Betty J. (Miller) Hackman, Ephrata, PA; and Shirley A. (Miller), married to Terry L. Rauser, Akron, PA; and 2 brothers, Franklin F. Miller, Stevens, PA; and Paul E., married to Scarlet J. (Brossman) Miller, Kleinfeltersville, PA. A brother, Walter F. Miller, preceded him in death. Viewing Services... A viewing will be held from our parlors on Sunday evening, February 29, 2004, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Services celebrating Roy's life will be held on Monday morning, March 1, 2004, at 10:00 AM with his pastor, The Reverend Robert A. Stippich, III, officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, PA.
