Ruth Bair

Ruth E. Bair, age 78, of Denver, Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, PA, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012, in Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading, PA. Born in Adamstown, a daughter of the late Harvey and Carrie (Eckenroth) Miller, she was the wife of Willard J. Bair, Sr. for 57 years. Ruth was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Adamstown. She worked for Cinderella Knitting Mills, Denver, and last for Terre Manufacturing, Terre Hill, and enjoyed camping and computer games. Surviving in addition to her husband are sons, Michael D. (Diane Heft) Miller; Carl A. Bair; and Willard J., Jr. (Sheri Beck) Bair; all of Denver; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (George) Himmelberger, Reading; and brothers, Clyde (Mary) Miller, Hampton, VA; and Leon (Marilyn) Miller, Fleetwood. Brothers, Lloyd & Ralph, predeceased her. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 7, 2012, at 10:00 am from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with The Rev. Jeffrey Hain officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm.
