Remembering... Ruth Deibler Ruth Deibler, 89, of Brecknock Township, Stevens, Lancaster County, died Sunday afternoon at 4:45 PM in Landis Homes, Lititz, Lancaster County, where she resided for the past 2 years. Born in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Harry F. and Annie (Reinhold) Slabach, and was the wife of C. Earl Deibler for 64 years on January 1st. Ruth was a life-long member and former Sunday school teacher at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reamstown, Lancaster County. She retired after many years with the former Fleet-Air Shoe Company, Ephrata, Lancaster County. A 1931 Graduate of East Cocalico Vocational School, Reamstown, she also had attended Lancaster Business School. Her memberships included Reamstown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Happy Hours Club Sr. Group of Reamstown, and had been a Red Cross volunteer for over 10 years at the Ephrata Community Hospital. She enjoyed cutting and sewing quilt patches, reading and travel. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters, F. Marie (Deibler), married to Glenn L. Eidemiller, Ephrata; and H. Elaine (Deibler), married to Peter Caruso, Greenacres, WA; a son, Philip L., married to Donna M. (Ansel) Deibler, Stevens, PA; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Harry A., married to Fern (Henly) Slabach, Denver, PA; and Roy E. , married to Arlene (Kring) Slabach, Stevens, PA. A brother, John R. Slabach, preceded her in death. Viewing Funeral... Ruth's viewing and funeral will be held privately by her request. She will be buried in Salem Union Cemetery, Reamstown, PA.
