Ruth Elizabeth (Gockley) Christ, 98 of Ephrata, PA, 'got her wings' on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. Daughter of the late Samuel - Elizabeth (Brandt) Gockley, Ruth was born March 28, 1921, inLeacock Township, PA. She was the wife of the late Melvin Walter Christ who died in 2006. Surviving are a daughter, Carol A., wife of Peter A. Pote of Denver, a son, M. Ray,husband of Sandra (Coe) Christ of Wrightsville, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren,three sisters, Bernice Dietrich, Marie Rice, and Arlene Wilhelm. Funeral arrangements will be private at the convenience of the family. Family and friends are invited to attend her life celebration on June 7, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at the lodge in Roland Park in Akron, PA.
