Remembering Ruth with Love... Ruth E. Geary, 81, of 33 Malsnee Road, Reinholds, Brecknock Township, Berks County, died in her residence Friday evening at 7:15 PM under the care of Berks Visiting Nurses Hospice. Born in Lititz, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Joshua and Clara Herr (Shenberger) Rollman, and was the wife of Robert H. Geary. She was a member and past financial secretary for Immanuel Evangelical Congregational Church, Adamstown, where she had been active with the children's arts crafts projects. Retiring in 1974, Ruth was employed for 26 years as an engineer technician for RCA, at their former Lancaster location. She was a 1939 graduate of Lititz High School. She was a talented artist having painting styles of reverse glass, theorem, tin, folk arts crafts and graining. Her work with rug hooking braiding and other needle work was also known in the area. She had a keen interest in antiques and gardening, and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, NJ. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Joyce (Rannels), married to Les Rickenbach, Leola, PA; and a son, Lynn, married to Carol Rannels, Reinholds, PA; 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter. Viewing Services... Ruth's viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2003, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM from our parlors. The funeral ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM with her pastor, The Reverend Richard F. Christman, II, officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown, Lancaster County, PA.
