Ruth Moad

Ruth N. Moad, 93, of Denver, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021. Born in Newport, Pa, she was the last surviving of 14 children to the late William J. & Nettie (Yetter) Trout. For 69 years, she was the loving wife to William Moad until his recent passing, just 2 weeks prior to Ruth's death. Ruth graduated from the Reading Hospital School of Nursing in 1952 and worked as a registered nurse at the Wernersville State Hospital for over 30 years. She was selfless, always thinking of others before herself. Ruth was a genuine lady, poised and articulate. Her kind, generous nature will forever be remembered, and her devotion to family forever treasured. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Carol J. Moad of Denver. In addition to her husband, Ruth is predeceased by her seven brothers, Charles, William, James, Glenn, Robert, Lawrence, five sisters, Anna Grace, Edith, Helen, Betty, & Harriet; and an infant sibling. Services are private. Her final resting place will be with her husband at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
