Sally Ann Fasnacht, age 80, of Ephrata Borough, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, January 28, 2017, at 10:25 AM in Lancashire Hall, Neffsville. Born in Fritztown, Berks County, a daughter of the late Davilla and Sallie (Sweigart) Hassler, she was the wife of Larry L. Fasnacht for 61 years. A 1954 Cocalico Union High School graduate, she worked at Denver Nursing Home and was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Swartzville. Sallie cherished her family, especially times at the shore. She was an avid writer, having filled many journals and had a poem published. She also enjoyed reading, walks and playing cards; Hasenpfeffer Uno were her favorites. Surviving in addition to her husband are sons, Terry, married to Sue Fasnacht, Denver; Garry, married to Debra Fasnacht, Jerry, married to Tina Fasnacht, Barry, married to Pam Fasnacht, all of Ephrata; and Larry, married to Gayle Fasnacht, Stevens; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Minnie Harding, Ephrata. A brother, Edwin Pierce, predeceased her. A private viewing and service was held from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with Rev. William E. Hoch officiating.
