Shirley A. Hess, age 80, of Stevens, West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died Friday, May 1, 2015, at 9:32 PM in Mt. Joy Hospice Center. Born in Stevens, East Cocalico Township, a daughter of the late Harvey W. and Catherine A. (Adams) Steely, her husband, John H. Hess, died Jan. 8, 1991. A member of First United Methodist Church, Ephrata, she was a 1953 East Cocalico High School graduate. Shirley was a supervisor for Hopeland Manuafacturing, enjoyed bowling, sewing, reading and cherished her family & friends. Surviving are her sons, Richard J., married to Rhonda (Nuckols) Bingeman, Virginia Beach, VA; & Randal J. Bingeman, companion of Pam Nussbaum, Denver, PA; grandchildren, Tabitha A. West & Thomas R. Bingeman; great-grandchildren, Blaze, Isabelle, Lori and a sister, Pauline Hainly, Ephrata. A brother, Richard Steely, predeceased her.
