Remembering Shirley... Shirley Y. Dickersheid, 67, of 781 Reinholds Road, Denver, Lancaster County, died Saturday in the Essa Flory Hospice Center, East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, where she was admitted earlier in the day. Born in East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of Dorothy B. (Firestone) Leed, Denver, and the late R. Warren Leed, and was the wife of Walter E. Dickersheid for 47 years on August 15, 2001. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Denver, where she was a former Sunday School teacher. Last working in 1996, she was employed in the office of Keystone Nitewear, Reinholds, and had been previously employed in the office of Amerigas Corp., Ephrata. She was a 1953 graduate of the former East Cocalico High School, Reamstown. She was a totally dedicated grandmother great-grandmother and enjoyed gardening. Surviving in addition to her husband and mother is a daughter, Debra A., married to Curtis W. Wolf, Denver, PA; 2 grandchildren and a great-grandson; also a brother, Barry L., married to Linda (Texter) Leed, Ephrata, PA. Viewing Funeral... Shirley's viewing will be held from our parlors on Wednesday evening, June 26, 2002, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday morning, June 27, 2002, at 10:00 AM with The Reverend David R. Brumbaugh officiating.
