Tamara Weeks

Tamara Ann Weeks, 53, of New Holland, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022. She was the daughter of Lee S. Day and the late Margaret M. Carroll (Davis) and the loving fiance to the late James Dekanchuk. Tamara grew up in New York and moved to the Lancaster Co. area in 1989. She enjoyed spending time with her family, so much so that while her sons were in school, she worked at the J.E. Fritz Elementary School cafeteria in the Conestoga Valley School District. For many years, Tamara also worked at R.R. Donnelley printing services. She loved her family, especially her three, soon-to-be four, grandchildren. Even at a young age, her grandchildren will have fond memories of Tamara's love and attention. She loved family visits with her sons, motorcycle rides, and her feline friends that kept her company. Despite her health struggles, Tamara made the most of everything and always saw the bright side of every situation. She was outgoing, happy, had a wonderful sense of humor, and found great joy in life's small things. Her victorious spirit and love will forever be missed. In addition to her father (Lee), Tamara is survived by her two sons, Brian Weeks Jr., (Samantha) of Reinholds and Connor Weeks (Kayla Lutchkus) of Denver; her three grandchildren, Hunter Weeks, Ashlyn Weeks, Evelyn Weeks, and a grandbaby due in June. Tamara is also survived by her former husband of 25 years, Brian Weeks Sr. A Viewing will be held on Sat., May 14th from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and a funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34 N.
