Tatyana L. Kolyesnik, 27, of Reinholds, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021, at home surrounded by her family after a 2-year battle with cancer. Born in Enakievo in the Ukraine, she was the oldest of three children born to Leonid N. & Svetlana (Chuieva) Opalko and the loving wife to Ivan O. Kolyesnik. Tatyana was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. She attended Millersville University for two years then received her doctorate degree from Temple University School of Pharmacy. While at Millersville she worked as a Pharmacist Technician at the former Royers Pharmacy in Ephrata. Most recently she was a Pharmacist at Tower Health Reading Hospital until her illness was too advanced to continue working. Tatyana married her church youth group sweetheart, Ivan, in 2012. She loved to play piano, violin, and the flute in the orchestra. She was always full of energy, and she loved to travel. She was a member of the Slavic Baptist Church in Schoeneck where she taught children's Sunday school. Tatyana's sweet manner and brilliant smile would brighten a room. She was compassionate, bright, and lived each day to the fullest. In addition to her husband and parents, Tatyana is survived by her sister, Angela; brother, Nikolay; and grandmother, Zinaida. A service with viewing will be held Thurs., Aug. 19th at 7 p.m. in the Bethany Slavic Church, 864 Dawn Ave., Ephrata, Pa 17522. The interment with graveside service will be at Fri., Aug. 20th at 10:00 a.m. in Mellingers Cemetery, 80 Gockley Rd., Stevens, Pa 17578.
