Terrence M. Burns

April 23, 1964 — April 9, 2025

Terrence M. “Terry” Burns, 60, of Ephrata, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025. Born in Delaware County, Terry was a son to the late Richard J. and Eileen J. (Anderson) Burns, and longtime companion to Donna Marini.

Growing up in Levittown, Terry was a 1982 graduate of Harry S Truman High School. A “jack of all trades” talent led him to working as a laborer, assisting in stonework and other tasks for different construction projects, normally working for Brad Altimore and his business Altimore Concrete Inc. In his younger years, Terry was known for being a lively presence on the stage, playing roles like Pippin in the high school play, and other local theater shows in Bucks County. Terry was always bursting creativity, constantly writing in journals his own poetry, novels, and short stories. He was always the life of the party, having full confidence and ease of talking to anyone and everyone around him. His charisma was always drawing to those around him, making him a blast to be around. Terry also had an “old soul” and cherished his love of old-time movies and movie stars. His outgoing personality will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

Terry is survived by four children of Terry and their mother, Stephanie; Ashton, Riley, Samuel and Ethan; three siblings, Joanne Connolly, Andrew Burns, and Kathleen (Gordon) Harris; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a great-great niece; and his longtime companion, Donna Marini. He is predeceased by his brother, Timothy Burns, and his brother-in-law, Michael Connolly.

Services will be private to the family.
