Remembering Thelma with Love... Thelma K. Weinhold Groff, 90, formerly of Bowmansville, died Sunday, February 18, 2007, in Ephrata Manor. Born August 11, 1916, in Alleghenyville, Berks County , she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Edna (Zerbe) Gebhart, and was the wife of Ray Groff, Bowmansville. Her first husband, Chester L. Weinhold, died January 24, 1976. A member of Allegheny United Church of Christ, Mohnton, she was employed by Berkshire Knitting Mills, Bollman Hat Company, and last by Hope Hosiery, Adamstown. Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, Rodney L., husband of Marjorie (Schellhamer) Weinhold, Birdsboro; daughter, Jean L., wife of Darryl Imler, Leola; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; step-son, Horace Groff, Reading; step-daughter, Shirley, wife of Wayne Good, Mifflinburg; 8 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Edna Gehman, Bowmansville; Elda Walbert, Engleside, FL; and Marlene Wenrich, Mt. Penn; and 2 brothers, Floyd, husband of Emma Gebhart, and Merritt Gebhart, both of Mohnton. 3 brothers, Sylvan, Walter Raymond Gebhart predeceased her. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2007, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with her pastor, The Rev. Ruthann Seibert, officiating. A viewing will be held Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery , East Cocalico Township .
