Thomas Daly

Thomas M. Daly, 84, of Denver, formerly of Jackson, NJ, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023. Born in Staten Island, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas J. & Gladys V. (Wolmar) Daly. Tom grew up in Staten Island and graduated from Curtis High School, class of 1958. As a child, he participated in the Boy Scouts and often told of his God & Country medal achievement. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was proud to have served his country. He resided in Jackson for 53 years and was active in the AMVETS Post 2, Elks Club Post 2744, Moose Lodge 1459, and American Legion 129. For many years, Tom worked as a lineman for Jersey Central Power & Light out of Lake Wood and formerly owned a trucking company. In the 1960's he worked for Ford Motor Co. on the line building Mustangs. Tom enjoyed a leisure motorcycle ride and time with his family. In 2017 he moved to Denver to be with his daughter. Tom is survived by four children, Shawn P. Daly, Thomas D. (Eileen) Daly, Michael L. Daly, and Mary K. (Robert) Phillips; 12 grandchildren, Shawn Patrick, Joshua, Matthew, Thomas J., Casey, Bryan, Jordan, Jared, Erin, Caroline, Trisha, three great grandchildren, Max, Jamie and Kaci; and two sisters, Christine Orleman and Pamela Serbanic. Tom was predeceased by a daughter, Michaela 'Kella' Carson and his former wife, Janice Ann (Hamilton) Daly. Services are private. Tom's final resting place is the Arneytown Veteran Cemetery.
