Thomas Lindauer

Mr. Thomas A. Lindauer, age 77, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 31, 2019 at Covenant Healthcare Harrison in Saginaw. The son the late James and Cecelia (Kowalczyk) Lindauer, he was born on May 5, 1941 in Bay City. Tom served with the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He married the former Janice M. Bristol and together they settled in Pennsylvania and raised their family. Tom went on to a long career as an architectural engineer analyst with Gilbert Associates, Inc. of Reading, PA. He was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ephrata, PA and was an active member and Past-President of the East Cocalico, PA Lions Club. Tom's wife Janice passed away in 2007. He is survived by their two children, Kevin (Debra) Lindauer of Cary, IL and Kendra Lindauer of Exeter, PA; two grandchildren, Brady Lindauer and Jillian Lindauer; a sister, Mary Ann Pietryga of Bay City; a brother-in-law, Howard Kneeshaw of Alpena, MI; and several nieces and nephews. Tom was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters, James, Orpha, Betty, June and Patricia. The Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at the Trahan Funeral Chapel, Bay City, Michigan. Fr. Thomas Kowalczyk will preside followed by Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. The Committal Service will take place on Friday, April 5th at 11:00 AM in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata, Pennsylvania.
