Timothy Harvey

Timothy M. Harvey, 60, of Mohnton, passed away June 23, 2018 after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Born in Utica, New York, he was a son of the late Nathaniel & Ellen "Curly" (McKintyre) Harvey. He was the loving husband of 17-years to Maria L. (Lorah) Harvey. Tim was a graduate of Holland Patent High School, class of 1974, attended Paul Smith College and graduated from State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a bachelors degree in Environmental Science. He was employed as an Environmental Compliance Technician. Tim was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church of Morgantown and had enjoyed mission trips with his wife to Kentucky. He was also an encouraging support to his wifes business, Lorahs Handmade Chocolates, LLC. Most of all Tim loved his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Tim is survived by four children: James Harvey of Bowmansville, Peter Harvey and his fianc Jessica French of King Salmon, AK, Gabriella Haas of Mohnton and Danielle Haas of Pensacola, FL; two brothers, Alan Harvey of Hinckley, NY and Dick Harvey, husband of Arlene, of Trenton Falls, NY; two nephews, Barry Halwig, husband of Susan, and John Harvey; and a niece, Yvonne Harvey.
