Timothy Talbot

Timothy A. Talbot, 60, of Leola, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023, at the West Reading Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Lancaster, Pa, he was a son of Walter C. and Shirley M. (Crouse) Talbot.

Tim was born and raised in Lancaster and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1981 to 1982. Over the years, Tim worked as a car salesman with a love of helping others purchase vehicles which then influenced him to pursue a career in assisting buyers to obtain financing in the home-buying process. Tim enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with his family around the dinner table with good food. He loved sharing coffee and conversation with friends and family, and his outgoing personality and charm would quickly win over any new acquaintance. Tim valued the special friendship he had with his cousin, Perry Buch. He enjoyed watching football and was a diehard Denver Broncos fan. Tim had a generous heart to share what he had whether it be a story or a dollar. He always loved the family dogs and owned a Great Dane and huge iguana in his past. He was a good brother, uncle, son and friend.

In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by a daughter, Allison McQueen; two grandsons, James and Max McQueen; and two siblings, Connie Burke and Scott Talbot. Tim is predeceased by a sister, Rebecca Schoenberger.

A visitation time will be held Sunday, October 8th from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Gravenor Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc. at 100 West Main Street, Ephrata, Pennsylvania 17522. A service will follow at 1:30 following the visitation. Interment will follow the service at New Evangelical Cemetery in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
