Tina Beam

Tina M. Beam, 63, of Denver, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy. She was the wife of the late Gregory S. Beam who died in January. Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of Phyllis (Leymeister) Bitting and the late Richard Bitting. Tina was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, class of 1974 and worked at the former Hope Hosiery in Adamstown. She was a member of the Salem E & R Church in Reamstown. Tina loved Jesus, her church family and enjoyed teaching children's Sunday School. Tina always liked the beach and would take daytrips there with her husband. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, black & white silent movies, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Tina was selfless and hardworking, always willing to put in extra hours to meet her family's needs and putting others before herself. In addition to her mother, Tina is survived by three children: Cory S. Beam of Denver, Kelly L. LHeureux, wife of Jason of Ephrata & Jennifer L. Young of Ephrata; seven grandchildren: Julian, Kylie, Colin, Katie, Jack, Jonathan, & Kaya. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Saturday, March 30th at 11:00 AM in Salem E & R Church, 12 E Church St, Reamstown, PA 17567. A time of sharing and luncheon will immediately follow the service and interment in Bowmansville Union Cemetery.
