Remembering Victor with Love... Victor K. Sweigart, 81, Denver, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2009, in Moravian Manor, Lititz. Born in Berkshire Heights, Berks County, a son of the late Amos and Emma (Kindt) Sweigart, his wife, Margaret R. (Gring) Sweigart, departed on January 21, 2000. A World War II army veteran, he was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Denver. Kind and considerate to everyone, Victor loved his grandkids, bus trips and mowing his lawn. Retiring from Cocalico High School as a custodian, he last worked at Martin's Flooring, Denver. Earlier he worked at Mi-Jan Fabrics and Cinderella Knitting Mills, Denver. Surviving are daughters, Evelyn F. Sweigart, Denver; and Dawn E. (Robert R.) Hall, Manheim; grandchildren, Kevin (Diane) and Chris (June) Hall; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Collin, Logan, Kyrsten and Gavin; and a sister, Arlene Leed. He was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Evans. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010, at 2:00 PM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with his pastor, The Rev. David R. Brumbaugh, officiating. Burial will follow in Allegheny Union Cemetery, Alleghenyville, Berks County, PA. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Rather than flowers, contributions in Victor's memory may be sent to Moravian Manor Memorial Fund, 300 West Lemon Street, Lititz, PA 17543.
