Violet Heinsey

June 25, 1917 — March 23, 2003

Remembering Violet with love... Violet Heinsey, 85, of 72 Park Street, Stevens, Lancaster County, died Sunday morning at the Essa Flory Hospice Center, East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, where she was a guest since Friday. Her death followed a brief illness. Born in Ephrata Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Warren L. and Mabel (Sweigart) Wingenroth. Her husband, Daniel K. Heinsey, died in 1983. She was a member of Swamp United Church of Christ, Reinholds, Lancaster County. Mrs. Heinsey was employed for many years by the former Cinderella Knitting Mills, Denver; former C B Trimming, and the former Reamstown Garment Factory, both of Reamstown. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening. Surviving are a daughter, Genevieve W. (Heinsey) Kane, Lancaster, PA; 2 sons, Kenneth W., married to Rochelle E. (Lausch) Heinsey, Stevens, PA; and Larry W., married to Judith L. (Ludwig) Heinsey, New Holland, PA; 7 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren. Viewing Services... Violet's viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM from our parlors. The funeral will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2003, at 10:00 AM with The Reverend Bradley J. Haws officiating. Burial will follow in Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds, Lancaster County, PA. The family has requested that rather than flowers, please remember Violet with contributions to Hospice of Lancaster County, Post Office Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
