Remembering Warren with love... Warren G. Spotts, 84, of 1303 Reading Road, Denver (Brecknock Township), Lancaster County, died Thursday evening at 6:30 PM in the Ephrata Community Hospital where he was a patient since Tuesday. Born in Bowmansville, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Martin and Jennie (Good) Spotts, and was the husband of Barbara V. (Shupp) Spotts for the past 56 years. A life member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Bowmansville, he was a past president of the church consistory and was the bell ringer for worship services and funerals for 30 years. Spotts was a 40 year Stone Mason and Stone Carver for 20 years, having last worked for M. E. Gerhart, Schoeneck, Lancaster County. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Warren was a board member of Bowmansville Union Cemetery for 44 years and served as the president since 1973. He was a life member of the Bowmansville Fire Company, enjoyed hunting and was an avid lover of horses. Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 sons, Kenneth M., married to Susan A. (Styer) Spotts, Mohnton, PA; and Frederick J. Spotts, Denver, PA; 3 grandchildren; a brother, Leon Spotts, Hamburg, PA; and 3 sisters, Margaret Coldren, Harrisburg, PA; Catherine Houshower, and Ruth Arlene Spotts, both of Bowmansville, PA. Viewing Services... Warren's viewing will be held from our parlors on Sunday evening, June 15, 2003, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. There will also be a viewing from the church on Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. The funeral services will be held on Monday morning, June 16, 2003, at 11:00 AM from St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Church Street, Bowmansville, PA, with his pastor, The Reverend Robert A. Witmyer, officiating. Burial will follow in Bowmansville Union Cemetery.
