Wayne Richard Firestone

Remembering Wayne with Love... Wayne Richard Firestone, 60, of 855 North Park Road, Wyomissing, Berks County, PA, died unexpectedly in his residence Monday morning, November 22, 2004. Born in West Reading, Berks County, he was a son of the late William G. and Mary L. (Himmelberger) Firestone, and was the husband of Janice (Shuey) Miller- Firestone. His first wife, Elinor P. (White) Firestone, died May 29, 1997. He was employed for 34 years by Exide Corporation, Reading, PA. Wayne was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Firestone was the treasurer of Local 5227 United Steel Workers, Reading. He was also an active bowler with the Tuesday night leagues at the Berks Lanes, Sinking Spring. Surviving in addition to his wife is a sister, Leona M. Raysor, Reamstown, PA, a brother, William E. Firestone, Trenton, NJ, and several nieces and nephews. Viewing Service A viewing will be held from our parlors on Saturday, November 27, 2004, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The services celebrating Wayne's life will begin at 1:00 PM with The Rev. John C. Richter officiating.Graveside services will follow with The Rev. Ronald Van Blargan officiating in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, Lebanon County, PA.
