Wilbur Eugene 'Leidy' Leid, age 86, of Terre Hill Borough, died at home on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at 3:45 AM. Born in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late LeRoy Lied and Grace (Rupp) Lied Adams. Gene worked for Hockman's Motor Express, Terre Hill, and Floyd Martin Garage, East Earl. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Cocalico Sportsmen's Association and Reamstown Athletic Association. Surviving are his wife, Gladdis Z. (Schnader) Leid; daughters, Victoria Ann, wife of Gerald Ream, Ephrata; Doreen Kay Buch, Martindale; a son, Richard Eugene, husband of Linda (Graybill) Leid, Swartzville; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Esther, wife of Henry Kuzminski, Brownstown; Elaine, wife of Wilbur Bauder, Ephrata. He was predeceased by a son, Darryl Scott Leid, and son-in-law, Rick Buch. Private inurnment will be in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville.
