Willard J. Bair, Sr., 89, of Denver, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Tower Health Reading Hospital. He was the husband of the late Ruth E. (Miller) Bair who died in 2012. Born in Adamstown, he was a son of the late William L. Sr. & Katie L. (Snyder) Bair. Willard was a 1945 graduate of Shillington H.S. He enjoyed hunting, fishing & collecting guns & coin. Willard was a very talented at woodworking, cabinetry and toys were his specialty. He would often gift his special wood projects to his family. He worked as a Hosiery Mechanic for Hope Hosiery Knitting Mills for almost 30 years. Willard enjoyed trucker talk on the CB radio where his handle was "WB". He would often get together with his friends for "coffee breaks" and a game of checkers. Willard is survived by three sons: Michael D. (Diane Heft) Miller; Carl A. Bair; and Willard J. Jr. (Sheri Beck) Bair, all of Denver, Pa; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; & two sisters, Lenora Adams & Peggy Texter. He was predeceased by four siblings: Selmer Bair, Richard Bair, Bill Bair, Jr.; & Marcella Steffy. Viewings will be held Mon., July 16, 6 8 p.m. and Tues. July 17, 9 10 a.m. in the Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34-38 N. Reamstown Rd. Reamstown, Pa. 17567. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. on Tues. with Pastor Jeffrey R. Hain officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown, Pa. Condolences may be posted at goodfuneral.com.
