William J., Womer Jr.

Remembering Bill Jr. With Love... William J. Womer, Jr., 53, of 15 Sleepy Hollow Drive, Mohrsville, Berks County, died in his residence of an apparent heart attack on Tuesday, March 23. Berks County Coroner, Nicholas Bybel, M.D., will be issuing the death certificate. Born in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, he was a son of William J. Womer, Sr., Stevens, Lancaster County, and the late Eileen H. (Woll) Womer. He was a member of Hopeland United Methodist Church, Lititz, Lancaster County. Womer was employed as a truck driver and mechanic with Gretz Distributing, Norristown, and previously he worked for the former Northeast Distributing, Reading. Bill was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a 1969 graduate of Ephrata High School, Ephrata, Lancaster County, and was a Marine Corps veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Surviving in addition to his father is a sister, Jean E., married to Donald E. Moyer, Stevens; 2 nephews and a grand-nephew. Memorial Service A service celebrating William's life will be held Monday, March 29, 2004, at 7:00 PM from our parlors with The Reverend Lawrence Richards officiating. Bill's cremains will be interred privately in Hopeland Cemetery, Clay Township, Lancaster County, PA.The family strongly requests that you not send flowers.
