Woodrow H. Ranck, Jr., 75, of Adamstown, PA, passed away at home on Monday, January 31, 2022. He was the loving husband of Ann P. (Ackerman) Ranck and son of the late Woodrow H. Ranck, Sr. and Pauline M. (Snyder) Ranck. Woodrow was born in Ephrata and was an Ephrata High School graduate, where he played baseball and basketball. He served during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army and was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and played baseball for the Adamstown Hatters in the Lebanon Valley League and volleyball in the YMCA Men’s League. He was an avid Phillies and Sixers fan and was a member of the Adamstown VFW and Adamstown Rod and Gun Club. In addition to his wife Ann, he is survived by a sister, Karen L., wife of Ronald Corson, one nephew, David Corson, husband of Helen, and one grandnephew, Luke Corson, all of New Jersey. Funeral services are private at the convenience of the family and under the care of Paul L. Gravenor Home For Funerals, Ephrata, PA.
